Prerequisites of Android Application Development and Hire Android App Developer - Part 1

I have covered most of the information on the iPhone and iPad Application Development and also how to hire developers for development of your projects. Here I am going to discuss on Android Application Development and Hire Android App Developer from a company. This article will consist of two parts, one is with the information on Android Application Development process and second one with the Hire Android App Developer and its process. I hope this would help you to decide or choose a company for the development of your projects.

Unlike iPhone or iPad, an Android App Development is a different ball game. Google has its own way to present things and you will feel that if you are a developer and using Android SDK for the development of Android Applications or Games. It's typical interface and coding language which is Java makes it more reachable for generic mass of developers who do not want to be more specific and want to be jack of all then just being iPhone developer. Let's look at it in more client perspective. As part of development and partial management team I will provide you some information on what process it takes from development to delivery.

Most of you have an idea of what you need to get developed and how it should look like. Most important thing in Android Application Development or Hire Android Application Developer is how clear your requirements are so when you provide it to any company it makes sure you pass on the right message of what you want and developer or management team can visualize how the application should look like. Once you provide idea or requirements make sure you sign NDA which will keep your data or any information you share confidential. Once the requirement is given most of the companies come back with time line and cost or queries, be patient and answer the queries, which will make sure that the developers get better idea of what you exactly want.

There are two types of Android Apps Development methods one is on the fixed cost basis and second is Hire Android App Developer. Which one you need to choose depends on what type of requirements you got to be developed. If features of the requirement is not fixed and you think there might be many things you need to be added while the app is in development then you should go for Hire Android App Developer, which we will discuss in the next part of the article. And if the requirement is outlined perfect and there is very little scope of change then you should ask companies to provide you with the exact cost and time estimate for the project development.

Android Honeycomb Application Development -featured tablet apps

Opposite to this Google android operating system is sold on many different device types with different screen resolutions and sizes, so you can buy your type and with not spending many bucks on it. So, where the idea of Honeycomb came from?

Android now becoming popular and achieving Google’s expectations has made Google feel the need for slightly new OS with better looks, user interface and multitasking capabilities for professional people and targeted towards more usefulness in the business sector and also big screen gaming. And hence they came-up with first operating system dedicated to only tablets, Honeycomb. With launching of the OS started the new era of tablet computing and era of application development for the same. AndroidApplication Development has been started and is slowly becoming popular app launching platform for business.

Android App Development is based on the same frame that what developers have used for android apps development.  Honeycomb Application Development is bit different from that of the android app development, as it is different when it comes to basic features provided by the honeycomb OS. As the OS is more made towards handling things on bigger screens and multi tasking it is also reflected on the development side. Typically honeycomb application development environment is same as that of android app development, the difference comes when you run the simulator and then it puts your patience on test. Honeycomb application development testing simulator is so slow that sometimes you need to wait for few minutes for one click to show the effect, and trust me that it has nothing to do with your latest core i7 process or latest graphic card. Well Google by now might have got idea and might be sorting that out soon, till than guys and gals who are developing on this has to bear with it just like us.

Apart from the simulator, so far honeycomb application development has been good experience and typically gives sense of Java development somewhere hidden in it. Not as developer friendly as the iOS SDK, but yet efficient enough that you can do good application development. We will discuss about more technical side of the honeycomb app development on our next article. Till then if anyone gets the simulator running fast... Please let me know!!!

Experience Android Application Development & iPad Application Development from Development's Perspective Part -1

I have been writing for some time now on different mobile technologies and their ups and downs, from users and also developer's perspective. So far we have discussed about iPhone and iPad, but what I have not compared is Android Application Development and iPad Application Development. Here I will try to give you an idea of how the development is done and also what developers feel about both the platforms and their development environment.

iPad Apps Development and Android Apps Development has been in the market from some time now, and as more and more time passes by we get to know who is going to get more market share. But still there is much uncertainty about the same, mostly due to available apps and games for the devices and what companies can offer to their users. When it comes to user experience, it is important for Google and Apple to understand the apps and games scenario and provide bests of the bests in their market for the selling. And it all goes to developers who are busy developing those and putting on the market. So, what is it that makes a difference between the two rivals?

Apple has given its development environment a top notch look and feel and also the functionality. iPad Application Development teams are finding it easy to develop in Xcode environment then to do it for Android Application Development in using Android SDK. Reason is slow simulators and also less help available for the problem you might face in Android App development. Most of the Android developers think it might be due to Java base coding structure that Google might not be able to provide smooth coding environment or may be some allocation issues, but Apple surely has an edge when it comes to SDK. Another thing Android Developers face is compatibility issues.

Developing application for one resolution device and developing it for devices which have sometimes having 30% change in their screen size or resolutions, it's going to be difficult. Developers need to maintain the app look and feel throughout all the devices for android and there where the problem comes and also increases the development costs. iPad Application Development in the other hand has no such issues as the same screen sizes and almost same resolution for both generation devices. Well, I know what you might be thinking by now that iPad Application Development has an edge over Android Application Development, then wait !!! More to come in next part...
